These movements cause injury because the body is going into positions that a normal human beings body shouldn’t go. These movements also cause injuries in the leg and hip ligaments. Movements like this have been described as an “unhealthy phenomenon” and could bring damage that could be permanent. The trend of the movements has come from a trend entitled #TiltTuesday. #TiltTuesday shows dancers stretching their legs into bizarre positions. The most popular movements featured on #TiltTuesday include the side tilt where it shows some standing on one leg with their other leg lifted from the side going above the head to what looks like the side splits just in the air.
